Welcome to the Pittsburgh Science Workshop. We believe science enrichment should be free, joyful, meaningful, and easily accessible for everyone!
Our mission is to empower young people from underserved communities to grow academically, and expand their confidence, through hands-on science and creative ingenuity.
We believe that through experiments, tinkering, and building, children can develop a genuine interest in learning and a positive relationship with the world around them.
Pittsburgh Science Workshop’s free drop-in hours are Saturdays 2pm-4pm. November through April our open workshop program is at the North Side Partnership Project, 2610 Maple Ave, suite 109. Kids and teens can have interesting new science experiences and work on fun projects of their choice! For age 7+ (or younger with support). Parents/caregivers welcome but not required. Come check it out!
